January 20, 2009 by Health Doctor
The latest generation of antipsychotic medications used in the treatment of conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder doubles the risk for patients to suffer sudden cardiac death when compared to those not taking the drugs. The results of the analysis can be found in the New England Journal of Medicine.
